Random Update

The last few weeks have been quite busy! From birthday parties to bachelor parties, to everything in between. Nothing too special to report, but just wanted to update pics of the kids.

Weekend Update

April and the kids gave me a great Father's Day this weekend! They gave me a great picture frame for my office with pictures of the kids decked out in their aggie gear!
This is my favorite new dress for Alyssa - she wanted to wear Mommy's shoes with the dress. Looking Good!!
Alyssa and Mommy got to go meet some friends for a play date at a local swimming pool!! Alyssa is becoming quite the swimmer! She loves to show how good she can swim. (with floaties of course!)
Cayden thinks he's big stuff now! He pulls up on everything and just loves running water!!

Alyssa's 3rd Birthday Party

Alyssa's 3rd birthday party was a great success!! Mommy worked very hard to ensure that a good time was had by all!! Good job Mommy!! There were several art projects for all the kids to enjoy. They decorated picture frames, painted pictures, made edible bracelets and filled jars with colored sand. The kids all enjoyed the "artivities", playing at the park, pizza and cupcakes!

We only had trouble twice during the whole party. One when a little boy tried to put his arm around my little girl and when Uncle Scotty gave my son a cupcake. I informed Alyssa that boys were icky and she should avoid them forever...or at least until she's 18 and off at college. April beat up her brother. :) Good times were had by all!

Mini-vacation to Canyon Lake / Sea World

April and the kids were able to join her parents last week for a vacation to Canyon Lake, north of New Braunfels. Unfortunately Daddy wasn't able to join them for the whole week, but they had fun without him. (Can you believe it?!?!)

They spent most of their days lounging in the pool. Alyssa is really becoming a big fan of the swimming pool, visiting the lake, playing putt-putt and just relaxing!

This was Cayden's first time in a real pool! He enjoyed it immensely!
Alyssa loves to play in the dirt, find rocks and splash in the water.
She learned this putting form and grip from her mommy!!
Cayden wanted to play too!
Alyssa celebrated her 3rd birthday on May 30th with a cake she made all by herself!!

As a special present to Alyssa, Mommy and Daddy took her to Sea World for the day. Thanks MawMaw and PawPaw for watching Cayden!!

We had a great day at Sea World. Alyssa enjoyed all the shows, especially Shamu. We got to ride a roller coaster, play in the water, and feed the seals and dolphins.

Daddy won Alyssa this stuffed Dora because some guy guessed that I only weighed 183. :) I like that guy!!
